This policy is a beta draft for Floating Stickers and should be reviewed before public App Store launch.
1Overview
Floating Stickers lets Shopify merchants display decorative sticker packs and uploaded sticker assets on their storefront through a Shopify embedded app and theme app extension.
2Data we may process
- Shop domain
- Shopify app installation/session data
- App configuration saved in app-owned metafields
- Uploaded sticker asset references or URLs if merchants upload custom stickers
- Technical logs needed for security, debugging, and reliability
3Data we do not intentionally collect
- Customer payment data
- Order payment details
- Customer passwords
- Unnecessary customer profile data
4How data is used
- Operate the app
- Save sticker configuration
- Display selected stickers on storefronts
- Troubleshoot bugs
- Maintain security and reliability
5Merchant-controlled content
Merchants choose sticker packs and uploaded sticker assets. Merchants are responsible for ensuring they have the rights to any assets they upload or use.
6Data sharing
- Shopify platform services
- Hosting/database provider later for hosted beta/production
- No sale of merchant or customer personal data
7Data retention
App configuration is retained while the app is installed. Data deletion and retention timelines may be finalized before public App Store launch.
8Privacy / compliance requests
Floating Stickers will respond to required Shopify privacy/compliance webhook requests, including customer data requests, customer redaction, and shop redaction, where applicable.
